Finish Line

At the finish line – Norm placed 29th,
completing the race in 42 hours, 46 minutes
and 31 seconds.

After the race

After Norm crossed the finish line, he
proceeded to the top of Mt. Whitney to 14,496
feet, the highest elevation in the lower 48 states, after being up for more than 56 hours and traveling 150 miles (ok, he took a few wrong turns due to lack of sleep)!  Fumbling with his
cell phone, “All I want to do is call my daughter, Katy, and my crew, but there’s no cell phone coverage up here!”
