Attention individual donors & sponsors

Yes, you can become a sponsor of an individual runner or Team Azalea Charities.  No donation is too small.  To make a donation by check, simply download our donation form and follow the instructions on the form.  To make a secure credit card donation from the internet, please visit our web page at http://www.active.com/donate/azaleacharities.

Team Azalea Charities is seeking to raise $225,000, our 2008 Run for Wounded Soldiers project fundraising goal by race day in October. Whereas each runner is required to raise a minimum of $500 to be on our team, each member of our team needs your support to reach this ambitious goal. You may designate a runner on your donation form or on the Active website, or mark ‘undesignated’ if you prefer your donation be attributed to the team at large.   Individual donation levels are Platinum for $5,000 or greater, Gold for $1,000 to $4,999, Silver for $500 to $999, and Bronze for $100 to $499.  Of course, all donations under $100 are extremely helpful as well.  
 
By becoming an individual or team sponsor, first and foremost you will be making a significant contribution to the needs of our sick and wounded soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines in rehabilitation upon returning from Afghanistan and Iraq.

You can tell all your family, friends, and business associates that you are a sponsor of Team Azalea Charities, and that 100% of your contribution was directed to the wounded servicemen and women since all our charity staff are volunteers and our operating expenses are totally covered by our board of directors.

In recognition of your donation, your name can appear on our Active Network website as an individual or Team Azalea Charities sponsor, unless you wish to remain anonymous.

Also, individual sponsors making a $1,000 or greater donation before 1 August 2008 can also have their name placed onto the runner’s singlets worn on race day, as well as the race day volunteer t-shirts and their signs to cheer on our team, unless you wish to remain anonymous. 

You will also receive a donation thank you and receipt email (for credit card donations) or letter from Azalea Charities (for check donations) for tax purposes  since Azalea Charities, Inc. is a non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.
