Stan Kinder of Haymarket won the first annual “Azalea Classic Championship” charity Texas Hold-em tournament, sponsored by Azalea Charities. Stan’s winnings, having bested a final field of 36 players, included two Redskins “Dream Seats”, a $500 bottle of Armand de Brignac Champagne and the Azalea Classic Championship ring created especially for the event by Jewelry by Design. Stan was one of 18 players who won their final game entry via a qualifier event sponsored by the Piedmont Charitable Foundation. 3rd place was captured by Chuck Ball of Montclair. Chuck won one of eighteen seats in the Azalea Classic final game awarded at the qualifier hosted by the Montclair Lions club. Chucks winnings included a $250 Jewelry by Design gift certificate, a $50 gift certificate from Giorgio’s Family Restaurant and a $100 Wegmans gift card.
