Team Azalea Charities welcomes
2010 Marine Corps Marathon sponsors

Montclair, VA October 8, 2010 – Azalea Charities announces its three sponsors for the 2010 Team Azalea Charities Marine Corps Marathon team. Overlook Systems Technologies, Inc., Howard & Company and Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. have contributed over $9000 to help defray expenses and support team efforts to raise money for Azalea Charities’ Aid for Wounded Warriors program. This year, Azalea Charities is partnering with the new Allied Forces Foundation to sponsor a 150-person team including one Canadian, nine Danes, seventeen British and 123 Americans. The group includes ten international active duty personnel who have been wounded in action, some of whom will compete on crutches and in wheelchairs.
Overlook Systems Technologies, Inc. provides technical and engineering services to government and commercial clients, specializing in Global Positioning System (GPS) and Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT). Considering his company’s support for Team Azalea Charities, Doug Taggart, President of Overlook and CEO of Azalea Charities, remarked, “Working with military contracts, we come into contact with a lot of dedicated people who give so much to our country in so many ways. Supporting Aid for Wounded Warriors is a way for Overlook to show our appreciation and support for their commitment.”
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI), provides leading edge technical services in unmanned systems engineering, ballistic missile defense, air vehicle survivability and flight test operations. They have supported Azalea Charities as a part of their community outreach efforts for many years. Last year Team Azalea Charities welcomed over 20 British soldiers, airmen, and marines and raised approximately $100,000 for U.S. and British service personnel.
